I'm Out of Shape!

Happy Friday! This week we finally used the Bob stroller that my parents generously gave to us at the beginning of June.  Since Kate is only 4 months old, we needed to use the car seat adapter, which necessitated buying a new and compatible car seat.  Both items arrived from Amazon on Tuesday evening, so Wednesday after work we put them together and headed out for a family run.  Even though is was lightly raining, Kate really enjoyed it and fell asleep towards the end (when Pat had to push because I was huffing and puffing trying to push the stroller up-hill).

Kate was relaxed under the two canopies and we added a blanket for padding around her bobble head.

Double rainbow on the way back home, makes living in Aspen a no-brainer.


This weekend is my 30th birthday!  Usually I would have big plans to celebrate, but this year I'm just too tired - this must be what middle age feels like.  I'm sure I'll get my party mo-jo back soon, but thankfully I have a wonderful husband who suggested brunch at Montagna on Sunday, which sounded perfect to me.
